Safe Space News is a news platform that customizes your newsfeed to your life and preferences. Safe Space News will hide any articles that you may find upsetting or triggering. We offer a safe space filled with stress-free and positive news stories.

Using Node/Express/Cheerio, I created my own API by scraping positive news stories from various news sites. For the Frontend, I used React and React-Query to fetch my API data and filter it based on trigger words.
